The Threads Textile Festival
This is a pop up exhibition of work by artists who have been inspired by the Archive and been part of the Weaving Voices programme- and what an interesting collection of ideas and responses. I have included some glass weaving tools and sley - and had a fantastic time as I got to meet some of the Mills former employees , June in particular who could remember in detail the weaving and threading processes as well meeting and chatting to weavers and textile crafts people.
